Props

We used The pill to tell the story that we he has just developed psychopathy and he needed the pill to make himself calm so he takes the pill but when his loved one got killed he decided that enough is enough and he wants revenge

I made the wallet is important because i wanted to get into the viewers mind as it builds tension upto a point where the viewers think he is going to the killed but then he pulls out a wallet the viewers should think he is safe then the next shot shows him dead

What is a thriller

Thrillers often take place wholly or partly in exotic settings such as foreign cities, deserts, polar regions, or high seas. The heroes in most thrillers are frequently "hard men" accustomed to danger: law enforcement officers, spies, soldiers, seamen or aviators. However, they may also be ordinary citizens drawn into danger by accident. While such heroes have traditionally been men, women lead characters have become increasingly common; for an early example see Sigourney Weaver's character Ripley, in the movie Alien, 1979.

Questionnaire

this is a survey i created as part of my research into the thriller genre so we could find out more about it

Characters

We choose the first character because the viewers will feel sorry for him and the voice over is not suitable for the second character

WE have deiced to change few factors in our films

film

we have complete the film in 1.53 seconds

Microphone problems

I had problems with the microphones because the one we are using right now is the built in once from the mac and it gives us feedbacks which we do not want so we wanted our voiceover to be better quality instead of the rubbish quality with is want we have so i asked a music teacher to help us and he said he will get us better quality from home for us

Re-filmed the discovery of dead body scene

Today we re-filmed a scene of our film in the alleyway in order to correct a small problem we had in the original scene, which was the character removing his jacket and placing it on the corpse however in the following clip the jacket wasn’t visible on the corpse. This time we filmed we never had the character remove his jacket and we also have decided to use the background noise of that location instead of dialogue for that short clip.

Editing

Today we continued to edit our film, removing parts we began to think were unessacary because they didnt really connect with the events after them.

Filming

Today we filmed another scene of our film, we chose the alleyway as the location for this because it is where the dead body is found by two other characters featured in our film and we thought an alleyway was a suitable match for a dead body to be found in.

Taking Feedback

We have asked for feedback about our opening, and have listened to the suggestions from others and will now make more changes based on their feedback.

They advised us to remove a close up we had on the dead body because it wasnt really needed, they also advised us to re-arrange some of the clips because they couldnt get a clear idea pn what our opening suggests, we have now arranged the clips to improve on this.

Today we filmed the final part of our film in an alleyway.

We have also began to make the final changes to our film, adding a voiceover, which will allow the audience to hear what is on the character's mind.

Change of our idea

Today we decided to make a few changes to our film, based on the feedback we recieved from others. The feedback we recieved from our few viewers that watched a preview of our film told us that they couldnt understand or get any ideas on what the opening of our film is trying to tell them about the story, we also realised it was too boring so it wouldnt make people want to continue watching our film, so we have changed our idea to fix these issues.

Things To Improve

We thought our film was not going anywhere so we decided to change the way it starts so people can get interested and so questions can be in there mind from the start can so it can be more interesting and to grip our target audience more

we also decided to change our Production company to A J&D Production after james and danny production
